EarthLink's Latest Value-added Service Allows Subscribers to Easily Share Photos Online with Friends and Family

ATLANTA, June 20, 2002 - EarthLink (NASDAQ: ELNK) today introduced its latest subscriber value-added feature, a new online photo service that allows subscribers to get their film developed and share their pictures online. Now available to all EarthLink subscribers, EarthLink Photo Center is powered by Snapfish, a leading provider of online photo services with 3 million members.

"Sharing photos online is one of the most compelling uses of the Internet because it allows people to share their lives with friends and family regardless of traditional geographic barriers," said Erika Jolly, EarthLink's vice president of value-added services. "EarthLink is committed to providing value-added services to make those connections easier."

EarthLink Photo Center will allow EarthLink subscribers to take advantage of such features as:

  • Film Developing: Users simply send in their film in super-strength mailers and receive back a complete set of prints and negatives for $2.99 per roll plus $1.99 for shipping and handling. Photos are also scanned into online albums for easy sharing.
  • Digital Camera Prints: Prints on Kodak paper start at $0.29 each, compared to home printing, which runs upwards of $1.00. Unlimited storage is also a key feature members will enjoy.
  • Share Photos Online: Both film and digital camera users can easily invite friends and family to view their online albums. They can also order their own prints.
EarthLink subscribers get their first roll of film developed and printed free. Digital camera owners also get 10 free prints with their first upload.
