SAN FRANCISCO, CA - July 19, 2004 - Snapfish, the leading online photo service, today announced the addition of Christopher Wu to its Executive staff as Vice President of Mobile.
Most recently the veteran Director of Mobile for Yahoo! Wu ran product management and product marketing teams including communications, m-commerce, entertainment and location based services. A pioneer in wireless strategy and deployment, Wu has also consulted with companies ranging from Handspring to Earthlink and Tellme on wireless projects.
As Vice President of Mobile, Wu will be leading the Snapfish charge to make it easy for people to "free their photos," which are currently trapped on their mobile hardware -- camera phones in particular -- such that they can share, edit, print and store them like they want to. Wu will be responsible for all Snapfish mobile initiatives, from carrier and partner relations, to device integration and strategic direction, to new product rollout.
"This is a marquee hire in our mobile group and demonstrates our enduring commitment to bring the complete Snapfish digital imaging, sharing and printing experience to the mobile world, from camera phones to PDAs," said Raj Kapoor, President and Co-Founder of Snapfish. "We are extremely gratified that Chris, one of those chiefly responsible for bringing consumer services to mobile devices, is joining the Snapfish team to lead our mobile programs."

"As the leading online photo service and the first to see the potential of the mobile market, Snapfish is uniquely positioned to build great consumer products for the exploding camera phone user base and provide solutions to carriers and handset manufacturers that help them deploy their next generation of mobile photo services."
