Black potholder, black stone trivet, and dark colored fabric placemat on a black marble countertop

Dark drama

Dark-colored kitchens are becoming increasingly popular. From black or navy cabinets to moody accents, these darker colors create a cozy, intimate vibe. Plus, with gray being one of Pantone’s Colors of the Year for 2021, it’s not surprising that these dark tones are taking over!

Trying to bring some dark drama to your kitchen? Start with our fabric placemat with the Abstract Landscape design. So contemporary + unique! If you like more of a moody floral, opt for the Floral Gold Frame placemat instead. The deep blue flowers are dramatic while still being elegant.

You can always opt for a stone trivet either as wall décor or to keep on your table — we think our Circular Floral Monogram stone trivet would be absolutely gorgeous for a dark + moody look. If you‘re looking for something trendy yet simple, check out Rustic Silverware — a perfect addition to any black + gray kitchen.

We love these simple pot holder options, too. The Big Ampersand or To Have & To Hold pot holders are both black + white, but feature interesting font and text treatments for a wow-worthy statement.

Warm + earthy

If you want to add some warm + earthy energy to your kitchen, think organic shapes, terracotta/rust-colored elements, and natural materials. You can find lots of this aesthetic at Snapfish! A great place to start would be our Geometric Sunrise placemat. We love this design and color palette. The Stripes fabric placemat in orange is also a great option to fit this décor theme, due to the more organic texture to the stripes.

Pick the Confetti Monogram stone trivet to decorate your table for even more earthy, natural vibes. Plus, personalize it with your family name, a thoughtful quote, or anything your heart desires! If you’re on the hunt for a potholder to pair with your new kitchen accessories, try the Sweet & Cozy design! The handdrawn feel with the warm wood tones will fit perfectly.

Plenty of plants

2020 was the year of house plants thriving. From first-time plant parents to long-time green thumbs, our plant buddies were thriving! This trend isn’t going anywhere for the new year… In fact, the color green is having a major moment in home décor and renovations.

Tea towel and beach towel featuring green and palm leaf-inspired designs

We love the idea of bringing some gorgeous greenery to your bathroom for a calming, spa-like feel. Make a statement with a lovely, leafy shower curtain, like our Eucalyptus design. Coordinate with a customized full-size towel in a greenery-inspired pattern, such as our Monogram Palm towel. You could also opt for Paradise Palms for something a bit darker. Pair it with our Brushed Monogram tea towel, personalized with your initial, as an adorable decorative touch of green. Add a small houseplant or succulent to a shelf or the countertop, too… We won’t tell anyone if it’s fake!

Granny chic aka “Grandmillenial”

What is this aesthetic, exactly? Think the comfort and nostalgia of grandma’s house, add a dash of cottagecore, and you’ve got “grandmillenial”! This décor style leans heavily into florals, tassels, and anything a little bit quirky.

Floral tea towel and beach towel designs

We think our Kaleidoscope shower curtain is the perfect way to bring granny chic to your bathroom! Pick whichever color you like, as we suggest opting for more eclectic towels. We highly recommend the Graphic Floral full-size towel and the Folk Floral hand towel. These two coordinate so well and add a fun, whimsical touch… Perfect for nailing the grandmillenial style! Plus, we love that you can personalize these designs with your name or monogram.

New neutrals

While shades of gray are still ever-popular in interior decorating, we’re seeing a resurgence of more earthy and warm neutrals, such as beiges, creams, and tans. Plus, this color palette creates a really calm energy, perfect for a busy home office space.

A must for any organized office space is a new calendar. Our Wood Block Desk Calendar is super popular for small desk spaces. To get the new neutral vibes, choose our Organic Growth or Minimalist design! Both have lots of white space and allow you to highlight your favorite photos in a beautiful way.

Another necessity? A brand-new notebook! Playful Patterns would make a perfect addition. The tan cover with pops of muted color is so cool + perfectly on trend! You could also choose Rustic Notes — you can’t go wrong bringing in wooden elements.

Personalize the Painted Pastiche mousepad with sweet photo memories, text, and embellishments to add some oomph to your calming, neutral space. The simple tan background with trendy elements is a fun addition to your desk.

Our favorite way to add some flavor to a workspace is photos! Give a small 4×6 canvas a try – it comes with an easel stand making it an easy addition to your desktop. How stunning is the Wonder of Love canvas? Choose four photos to showcase amongst the gorgeous muted color palette. Check out our Painted Border option, too. The brushstroke-style border adds a bit of a boho touch while showcasing your photo against a white background.

Pops of color

This trend pairs well any aesthetic, but we love the idea of a heavily-neutral room with bright bursts of color. Since Pantone’s other 2021 Color of the Year is a vibrant shade of yellow (called Illuminating!), we thought it might be great to use for this décor style.

Looking for a calendar that uses color in a punchy way? We’re fond of the Valencia design for our Wood Block Desk Calendar. It pairs vibrant fruits and florals with darker background colors for a unique look. If you’re in the mood for something extra-fun, pick up our Bunch of Bananas notebook. Talk about working hard AND playing hard! Our Vivid Hues notebook in red is another striking choice for a pop of color.

Adding a colorful mousepad is a simple way to brighten up your workspace. How gorgeous is our She Is Fierce mousepad? Between the bold goldenrod color and the inspiring message, it’s sure to make you smile every day. We also love how our Desert Moon Phases mousepad showcases the color yellow. Create a Folky Floral Collage 4×6 canvas to show off your nearest and dearest right on your desk, too. We love that you can add multiple photos and customize with text!
