As March 17th draws closer, we know that everyone across the country will be searching for the perfect shade of green that they can decorate their homes, or themselves, with for St. Patrick’s Day. So, if you’re looking to (sham)rock this spring holiday in style, you’re in luck! Read on to see how you can add a bit o’ green to your home décor and more.
Emerald accents
One green trend we’re always onboard with is bringing the outdoors inside with bold botanical patterns. This is so easy to do with custom accent blankets + pillows. One great example can be found on our Banana Leaf Life throw pillow, which features tropical leaves against a neutral backdrop. You can also add some great greenery with our Festive Leaves photo blanket. Another decorating trend that never goes out of style is plaid patterns. You can get throw pillows and blankets with our Buffalo Plaid design, in bright green of course.
Looking to dress up your dining room? Try our fabric placemats! We have several different designs that prominently feature green in a soft, sophisticated way — Eucalyptus Monogram, Calm Branches, and Eucalyptus Hearts.
For a pop of color in the kitchen, try decorating with custom tea towels. Gear up in green
Now that your home is dressed up, it’s time for you to get green too. Our design team is always hard at work producing new looks + layouts for our products and they recently added two new festive face masks for St. Patrick’s Day. The Emerald Isles design features a leprechaun saying “Kiss me! I’m Irish!” while being surrounded by gold, rainbows and other flourishes. Our Smiling Irish Eyes mask says “No Pinching! (Stay 6 feet away)” against a green shamrock background. Both masks can be customized with your name too. Another fun design that would be appropriate for the day is our Rainbow Smile face mask.
Avoid getting pinched by wearing green on a new custom t-shirt. While we don’t have any premade designs that are St. Patrick’s Day themed, you can always upload your own design, or create one using our embellishments. When you’re in our project builder, just click on the “Embellishments” tab and choose Holidays > St. Patrick’s Day. Here you’ll find shamrocks, gold coins, leprechauns, and much more. Here’s an idea for a fun phrase to use — “Who needs luck when you’ve got charm?”
Will you be toasting throughout the day with green beverages? Make sure you’re using a celebratory cup! We recommended embellishing our insulated tumbler with shamrocks and other lucky charms.
