The Snapfish leadership team brings together a wide, deep range of experience in online and offline business strategy and execution.
Vice President and General Manager, World Wide
Manas Chaliha is one of the founders of Snapfish and currently serves as the director of engineering. He is responsible for leading a team, spread across three continents, to build the highly scalable network of Snapfish sites.
Chaliha's team enables Snapfish to power large retail photo sites for leading retailers and is working on growing the Snapfish global network of sites, which currently extends to 21 countries. In addition to his work in R&D, Chaliha leads the Snapfish Quality Assurance team.
With 14 years of experience working on various software platforms, Chaliha previously worked for the IT management company CA and Shark Multimedia Ltd. on key computer telephony initiatives.
Chaliha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jorhat Engineering College in India.
Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Revenue, World Wide
Based in San Francisco, Mario joined Snapfish following the HP acquisition in April 2006. Mario originally transitioned from his role leading the European Trade Marketing team within the Imaging and Printing division of HP to focus on the integration of Snapfish into the wider HP organization. He managed the rapidly expanding Southern and Central European business before taking on the full EMEA portfolio. He became the General Manager for Snapfish Americas in September 2012.
Mario has 15 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry starting in Milan where he cooperated with several trade and marketing agencies. He joined HP in 2001 as EMEA Extended Sales Force Manager and became EMEA Trade and Marketing Manager in 2004. In his years at HP, Mario has deployed a variety of online sales, training, and reporting tools to support the consumer channel.
Mario holds a degree in Economics and a Master of Science in International Management at the Universita' Luigi Bocconi of Milan.
Head of Engineering
Jimmie Sato joined Snapfish in June of 2000 and, over the course of his tenure, he has served in a variety of roles and capacities. He was a key contributor to the overall design and implementation of the Snapfish platform including the technical infrastructure and customer-facing Support organization.Â He currently leads the Snapfish Technical Operations team with a focus to operationalize all technology improvements and enhancements for the worldwide Snapfish platform.
Prior to Snapfish, Sato worked as a technical consultant in various companies and industries, growing and honing his skills and expertise in technology and business settings.
Sato is also a board member for Tomo Systems Group, a consulting firm specializing in advice and support to the web industry.
Head of Retail Partner Solutions
Jeff Hooker is Head of Retail Partner Solutions. Jeff joined Hewlett Packard in 2006 and is currently responsible for the P&L of Snapfish's strategic retail partnerships including the development, delivery and operations across the Snapfish platform of partner-branded online photo properties. An experienced leader, Jeff brings more than 15 years of product management and service delivery knowledge with detailed concentration on user generated digital media and multi-channel photo fulfillment strategies.
Prior to HP, Jeff led product and professional services teams at Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) from 2007 to 2009, at AOL (NYSE: AOL) from 2001 to 2006, and at Netscape Communications from 1998 to 2000.
Jeff served in the United States Marine Corps and holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of California, San Diego.
Chief Customer Advocate
Kirsty leads Worldwide Customer Advocacy at Snapfish, a role in which she uses customer insight to drive strategic initiatives and deliver superior customer experience. As the Chief Customer Advocate, Kirsty is responsible for the experience of Snapfish's 100M+ members worldwide. She works cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing business units to ensure they have access to actionable customer insight to improve and enhance customer satisfaction across the entire value-chain.
Prior to her current role, Kirsty was the General Manager of Snapfish's Canadian business, where she developed a strategic and GTM plan and resourced the business to deliver double-digit revenue growth and P&L objectives.
Kirsty has over 14 years of international experience gained from senior sales & marketing, operations and business management roles in the US, Japan, and New Zealand, where she has a track record of effective leadership and business transformation.
Kirsty holds bachelor's degrees in both Arts and Commerce at the University of Auckland, winning senior prizes in Marketing and Japanese.
Head of Operations
Benjamin Lamparter is Snapfish's lead liaison with more than 20 vendors. Along with the talented, hardworking team he oversees, he brings a wealth of experience growing these relationships to satisfy our customers' desire for new and creative ways to enjoy their favorite photos.
Benjamin joined Snapfish in January 2009, as a Vendor Manager in Europe. In January 2011, his success led him to take on additional responsibilities as the Vendor Operations Lead, overlooking the fast growing vendor landscape in the region. In August 2012, Benjamin took helm as the worldwide Head of the Vendor Operations and relocated to Snapfish's headquarters in San Francisco.
Benjamin's career at HP started in 2000. Before becoming a Snapfish member, he held various positions in general business units of HP. As an NPI (new product introduction) Engineer he was responsible to technically qualify and launch ready-2-sell consumer printers. Later, Benjamin managed the PC & Notebook Demo Pool for HP's European Equipment Management and Remarketing business unit.Benjamin holds a degree in business administration and information technology from the University of Cooperative Education, Stuttgart, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Open University, London.
