Helen Vaid
General Manager, Snapfish
Hewlett-Packard Company
Helen Vaid has spent her career taking various brands into Europe from the U.K. Prior to joining Snapfish, she was sales & marketing director at Tornado Ltd., a streaming media provider. She worked with clients such as NASDAQ, Logica CMG, EMAP, and Reed Elsevier etc. to provide systems and solutions to take their rich content online.
When Servecast Ltd. acquired Tornado, she became a key member of the management team and head of sales for Europe, taking the integrated platform of streaming media publishing to corporations as well as content owners. Prior to Servecast, she successfully launched ShopSmart, the U.K.'s leading shopping comparison engine in Europe. Vaid also set up key retail relationships on a Pan-European level for various brands when working at R. Twinings and Proctor & Gamble, Europe.
Vaid holds a Masters of Business Administration from Manchester Business School and a Bachelor's of Arts in Change Management from the University of Delhi. Her book on creating successful brands was published in 2003 in the United States and the U.K.
Barry Herstein
General Manager,
Snapfish Americas / Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Barry Herstein joined Snapfish in October 2010. Prior to that, he served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for PayPal Inc., responsible for global brand and marketing strategy and implementation. Between 2008 and 2010, he also served as PayPal's first‐ever General Manager of PayPal North America, establishing the company's stand-alone North America regional business organization, the largest business unit in the company.
Before joining PayPal, Herstein served as CMO for American Express International's consumer business. There he led development and implementation of integrated consumer marketing strategies, designed to grow the American Express consumer payments franchise outside of the U.S. Herstein also served as CMO at the Financial Times (FT) Group where he managed marketing for all FT businesses across print publishing, digital media and business information. He also served as Managing Director of Consumer Marketing for Citibank's international consumer business. Herstein began his career at Avon Products Inc. where he advanced to group Vice President of Marketing for the U.S. business.
Herstein received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston University School of Management. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the London Business School.
Mario Pacini
General Manager, Snapfish EMEA
Based in Geneva, Mario joined Snapfish following the HP acquisition in April 2006. Mario originally transitioned from his role leading the European Trade Marketing team within the Imaging and Printing division of HP to focus on the integration of Snapfish into the wider HP organization. He then moved to managing the rapidly expanding Southern and Central European business before taking on the full EMEA portfolio.
Mario has 15 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry starting in Milan where he cooperated with several trade and marketing agencies. In 2001 Mario joined HP as EMEA extended sales force manager, becoming EMEA trade and marketing manager in 2004. In his years at HP Mario has deployed a variety of online sales, training and reporting tools to support the consumer channel.
Mario holds a degree in Economics and a Master of Science in International Management at the Universita' Luigi Bocconi of Milan
Dan Reardon
General Manager, Snapfish Asia-Pacific & Japan
Dan has been with Snapfish since 2004. Currently located in Australia, Dan recently spent three years in Beijing to launch and build Snapfish China. Before that, he ran the CRM marketing team for Snapfish.
Dan has more than 20 years experience in consumer marketing. Prior to coming to Snapfish, he ran the B2C online business at California-based Travelsmith.com (now owned by IAC Interactive Corp). Before that, he lived in Hong Kong for six years managing the consumer product licensing business for China for the Walt Disney Company. He relocated to Hong Kong to establish the office for the magazine The China Business Review.
Dan holds a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian Studies from Brown University.
Troy Anderson
Chief of World-Wide Product and Applications
Troy comes to Snapfish from KnowledgePlex, Inc., a spin-off of Fannie Mae Foundation, where he led and pioneered online solutions for geospatial web services and external knowledge management. Prior to that, Troy led the online business of The Industry Standard and was the VP Product for Red Herring. Troy joined Red Herring upon the sale of his business StockMaster where he was President/COO and employee #8. At StockMaster, Troy grew the business to include 13 of the Dow 30 as customers and provided stock information solutions to 200+ public companies.
Before his Internet days, Troy was a management consultant to companies like Caterpillar and US&G. Troy also cofounded his tribe's economic development corporation, the Coquille Economic Development Corporation (CEDCO), which he helped grow from 3 employees to more than 500 employees in a span of four years.
Troy graduated from Stanford with a bachelor's in Linguistics and a master's in Anthropology, while also playing varsity football as an offensive tackle. Troy's master's thesis was the first dictionary for one of his tribe's ancestral languages, Milluk, a language last spoken natively by his great-great grandmother. After receiving his master's, he left for Japan to become a professional Go player, and much later, he wrote a book on Go and business strategy for Simon & Schuster called The Way of Go. After cofounding CEDCO, Troy went on to get his MBA at Kellogg.
Colin Martin
Director, Strategic Partnerships
Colin Martin joined Snapfish in February 2007 and oversees strategic partnerships and white label relationships. Prior to that, he was Photo Processing Director and board member of Jessops, the UK's largest specialist photographic retailer. There, Colin was responsible for both online and in-store photo processing. He also held a number of other roles, including managing the online, commercial, and export divisions, where he delivered increased revenue and customer loyalty.
Colin's career has been in growing retail businesses, both traditional and online. Prior to Jessops, Colin co-founded and was managing director of one of the largest and fastest-growing online photo specialty retailers in the UK. Colin has also worked in a number of blue-chip UK retailers, including ScottishPower and Dixons Stores Group.
Manas Chaliha
Director of Engineering, Snapfish

Manas Chaliha is one of the founders of Snapfish and currently serves as the director of engineering. He is responsible for leading a team, spread across three continents, to build the highly scalable network of Snapfish sites.
Chaliha's team enables Snapfish to power large retail photo sites for leading retailers and is working on growing the Snapfish global network of sites, which currently extends to 21 countries. In addition to his work in R&D, Chaliha leads the Snapfish Quality Assurance team.
With 14 years of experience working on various software platforms, Chaliha previously worked for the IT management company CA and Shark Multimedia Ltd. on key computer telephony initiatives.
Chaliha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jorhat Engineering College in India.
Mark Plastino
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Mark Plastino joined the Snapfish team in November 2009 with concurrent finance responsibility for the Retail Photo Publishing and Media divisions. He has held various positions at the parent company, Hewlett‐Packard, since 1991.
Prior to his Snapfish role, he served in finance leadership positions for HP Storage, NonStop Computing, Server Software, and Procurve Networking. He was instrumental in driving a major upgrade to HP's financial landscape including international implementation of new warranty reporting and billing systems.
In 2008, Plastino held a leadership role on the HP's Finance and Strategy team where he created the “People Plan,” a transformation in the way HP finance attracts, retains and develops talent.
At Snapfish, Plastino taps his finance and accounting experience to build a scalable finance and reporting platform capable of supporting significant growth for Snapfish and her sister divisions. Concurrently, he serves as Board Member for Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union, based in Palo Alto, CA.
Plastino holds an MBA from the University of California Davis, recognized with Top of Graduating Class status. In his spare time, Plastino enjoys mountain biking and spending time in Lake Tahoe with his family.
Jimmie Sato
Head of Technical Operations
Jimmie Sato joined Snapfish in June of 2000 and, over the course of his tenure, he has served in a variety of roles and capacities. He was a key contributor to the overall design and implementation of the Snapfish platform including the technical infrastructure and customer-facing Support organization. He currently leads the Snapfish Technical Operations team with a focus to operationalize all technology improvements and enhancements for the worldwide Snapfish platform.
Prior to Snapfish, Sato worked as a technical consultant in various companies and industries, growing and honing his skills and expertise in technology and business settings.
Sato is also a board member for Tomo Systems Group, a consulting firm specializing in advice and support to the web industry.
Chris Klingebiel
VP, New Ventures
Chris Klingebiel leads the team that builds new businesses for Snapfish. Since joining Snapfish in 2003, he also spent four years running the Partner Solutions B2B division and one year leading the Product team.
Chris came to Snapfish with 13 years' experience in business development, product management, and professional services. Prior to joining Snapfish, he was Director of Product Management for Cataligent, an enterprise project management software start-up. He also spent four years as a Director with Cambridge Management Consulting where he oversaw strategy, e-commerce, and business process projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Ford, Apple, Pacific Bell, Wells Fargo, Caterpillar, and Kaiser Permanente.
Chris holds a degree from U.C. Berkeley.
Beth Miller
HR Business Partner
Beth Miller has been the Business HR Partner for Snapfish since 2009. She is responsible for partnering with Snapfish business management in such areas as workforce management, staffing, compensation, performance management, and employee engagement to attract, retain, and develop a high-performance workforce.
Beth joined HP in 1997 in the role of Compensation Manager. After a year focusing on compensation, she moved into Business HR. She has spent the majority of her career at HP as a Business HR partner developing and implementing world-class HR programs for a variety of HP organizations around the world. Organizations she's worked with inside of HP include Inkjet Technology and Manufacturing, Digital Projector, Retail Publishing, and Snapfish.
Prior to joining HP, Beth worked as a compensation manager for the City of Gresham and the North Slope Borough. She also served as a compensation consultant for Howard Johnson & Company, designing and implementing compensation programs for a variety of client organizations including Alaska Airlines, Puget Sound Bank, and REI.
Beth holds a Masters of Business Administration from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon, and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from Oregon State University in Corvallis.
