How to Sign Up
To create your free Snapfish account, you need:
  • a valid email address
  • access to a computer with an Internet connection
  • optional: a U.S. mailing address (for film developing services)
Then, just follow these steps:
  1. Go to www.snapfish.com
  2. Click on the 'get started' button
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Enter a password (at least 5 characters long) that's easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess.
  5. Click on the 'go fish!' button at the bottom of the page.
  6. You will then be taken to another page where you will have the option of entering your mailing address to receive prepaid mailers.
After signing up
After you create your Snapfish account, we'll send you an email confirmation of your registration. If you provided your mailing address in step 6, we'll also mail you a Snapfish Welcome Kit that includes:
  • A Snapfish postage-paid film mailer
  • Personalized film ID and return address labels
  • Order forms for sending in film
Your Snapfish Welcome Kit will should arrive within 3-5 business days after you sign up. If you have film to send in now, you can print a postage-paid mailing label from the home page.

Logging in to your Account
Once you've signed up with Snapfish, you can log in to your account anytime.
  1. Go to www.snapfish.com
  2. Find the area in the upper right corner of the page that says 'already a member?' and click the 'log in' button.
  3. Type in the email address and password you used when you created your account.
  4. Click the 'log in' button.
Tip: If you forgot your password, click on the link next to the 'log in' button, and enter your email address. We'll send your password to you.

If you want to use Snapfish without having to log in every time you visit, click the box labeled "Remember me every time I visit Snapfish." Then, click on the log in button. When you are done viewing your photos, just close your browser window. The next time you go to www.snapfish.com, you'll go directly into your account without having to log in.

To log out of your account when you are finished using Snapfish, just click on 'log out' in the upper right corner of most pages of the site. You will have to log in again when you return, even if you clicked the 'Remember me' box.

Common Questions about Signing Up and Logging In
Why does Snapfish need my mailing address?
Providing your mailing address is optional. If you plan to send film to Snapfish for developing, we need your address so we can send you a free Snapfish Welcome Kit that includes postage-paid film mailers.

Can I sign up through the mail or over the phone?
No. In order to use the Snapfish website you need to sign up through our online sign-up form on our website.

What if I've forgotten my password?
We'll send your password to the email address stored in your Snapfish account. Just follow these steps:
  1. Go to www.snapfish.com and find the area in the upper right corner of the page that says 'already a member?'. Click the 'log in' button.
  2. Click on the 'forgot password?' link.
  3. A small window containing a text field will pop up. Enter the email address you used to create your Snapfish account and click on 'OK'.
  4. We'll immediately send you an email message with your password.
  5. Check your email for the password, and then return to Snapfish and log in. Need your password now?
What should I do if I get an incorrect password error?
If you receive an error saying that your password is incorrect, try entering it again to make sure that you haven't mistyped it. If you've forgotten your password, we can send it to the email address you signed up with. Need your password now?

What if I can't log in, even with the correct email address and password?
Internet Explorer instructions:
  1. Go to the 'Tools' menu
  2. Choose 'Internet Options'
  3. A smaller window will open with several tabs across the top. Click on the 'Security' tab.
  4. Click on the 'world' icon
  5. Make sure that you are set to 'Medium' or 'Low' security
Netscape instructions:
  1. Go to www.snapfish.com
  2. Click on 'Tasks' in the toolbar
  3. Select 'Privacy and Security'
  4. Go to the 'Cookie Manager'
  5. Select 'Accept All Cookies'
If you've verified that your browser accepts cookies and you still can't log in, please email service@snapfish.com with the following information:
  1. Your first name, last name, email address, and mailing address (all exactly as you registered).
  2. If you have any other email addresses, please be sure to include them in the message.
  3. Which computing platform you are using (Macintosh, Windows)
  4. Which browser you are currently using and the version (e.g., Internet Explorer 5.0, Netscape 6.0, etc.)
