Insert Filters

Open the pocket on the side of the face mask and simply slide in one of the included filters.

Add Silicone Adjusters

We’ve included a pair of silicone o-rings you can use to adjust the length of your custom face mask’s ear loops.

Help Threading Earloops

We recommend using a bobby pin or a paper clip attached to the earloops to then thread through the silicone adjuster pieces.

Adjust Earloops

Slide the silicone adjuster pieces towards or away from the mask to loosen or tighten. Lock them in place once the fit is perfect.

How do I make a custom face mask?

It's easy! You can choose from a variety of pre-made designs, then personalize your face mask by adding text or more embellishments. You can also start from scratch by choosing the Design Your Own template and make your own custom face mask by adding photos, a background, text, and embellishments. Note Design Your Own works best on a desktop or tablet.

What materials are these masks made from?

Our cloth masks consist of a 100% polyester water-resistant fabric, the inner layer is made from 100% water-absorbent cotton with a pocket opening for the replaceable PM2.5 carbon filter to fit as a middle layer. The over-the-ear elastic loops are made of polyester and spandex. The o-rings to adjust the sizing & fitting of the mask to your face are made of silicone.

Do these personalized face masks come with filters?

Our custom fabric face masks have a filter pocket in the cotton lining and come with a starter 2-pack of carbon filter inserts. Simply insert the filter into the pocket of the mask. The filters are made from meltdown fabric.

Are these custom face masks washable and reusable?

Yes! You can machine wash your personalized cloth face coverings on a warm cycle with like colors. Hang drying is recommended or tumble-dry low heat. Filter must be removed prior to washing.

Can the filter be washed?

No. You should not wash the filter. Replace as needed. (after 2-3 days for all-day use or after a 4-5 days of occasional use). These masks use standard PM2.5 filters.

Why do I need to wear a face mask?

Your fabric face mask is for coronavirus prevention. You can do your part to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a face mask. Make sure you have your own mask, and do not share it with anyone. Check out the CDC.gov recommendations and important information about cloth face coverings.

How do I adjust the size of the ear loops?

If your face mask is too large, you can use the included silicone adjuster pieces to make it fit better.

Use a bobby pin or paper clip to thread the earloops through the included silicone o-rings.
Repeat for the loop on the other side.
Try on the mask to check for fit while holding the silicone adjusters in place.
If the mask still fits too loosely, slide the silicone adjuster closer to the mask to tighten.
If the mask fits too tightly, slide the silicone adjuster away from the mask to loosen.

How do I wear a non-medical, fabric or cloth face mask?

Before wearing your fabric face mask, we recommend you clean your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water. Spend 30 seconds cleaning hands.
Pick up the mask and inspect it. It should be clean and not damaged.
Place the mask on your face, covering your nose, mouth and chin. Make sure that there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
To avoid COVID19 contamination, do not touch the mask while wearing it. If you accidentally do touch the mask, clean your hands again.

How do I take off a fabric face mask?

Before touching the mask, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water.
As you remove the mask, lean forward slightly, and remove the loops from behind the ears, without touching the front of the mask.
Do not forget to wash your hands after taking off the mask.

Face Mask Usage To Prevent COVID-19 Infection & Spread

These face masks should not be used:

in any surgical setting or where significant exposure to liquid bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected.
in a clinical setting where the infection risk level through inhalation exposure is high.
in the presence of high intensity heat source of flammable gas.
